Default Can I stop my child from erasing temporary internet files from the computer?

I keep finding days missing from the temporary internet files... something's up. I have Net Nanny. Wouldn't that catch anything or is there a loophole I'm missing?

Tell him that next time he tampers with it, he is banned from the computer until he can tell you what is going on.

well i suggest u use parental control idk if it would get that my dad had it on me until i got a virus from my cousins pc on live messenger and i had to reformat my laptop i think it should ask for parental control password to delete that you can choose alsow to block inapropiate website, etc its better belive me it helped from getting many viruses from bad site when i was searching for software, etc

Ban him/her from the computer & tell him/her why. If your computer deletes temp files by itself, punish yourself.

Simple, just sit your child down and talk to them like you would and adult. (Children are very intelligent and a lot smarter then parents think). Explain to your child the dangers of the internet, that the internet was designed to be a place of knowledge and fun. Instead there are bad guys on the internet like child molesters, etc. etc. and they can harm you. Not to mention viruses one gets from entering sites they should not be in.

Explain to your child that you love him or her very much and you are trying to be a good parent. And ask your child to promise that they will comply with your wishes being they know that you love him or her.

Also let them know that if they refuse to comply then they will loose all privilages to the use of the computer.

Please excuse my English, not my primary language.

Mind Doctor, France

Use Pariental Control by Micorsoft. It blocks the TIF and needs a password to delate them.

Heres the link to some of the products they have you can download (some are free some are fees):
